Upon your arrival , Our representative will welcome you at the Cusco airport and transfer you to your accommodation in Cusco.rnOur Walking Tour in Cusco starts at the Qoricancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun, built by orders of the Inca Pachacutec (1438 – 1572). To clarify, upon the arrival of the Spaniards, it became the base of the convent of Santo Domingo. During the incanato the temple was dedicated to the worship of the sun god “Inti”. From there, we will walk to Cusco's Main Square (Plaza de Armas), the historic heart of the city, surrounded by impressive colonial architecture. We will then continue to the charming San Blas neighborhood, known for its cobblestone streets, artisan workshops, and bohemian atmosphere, including a stroll along the picturesque Siete Borreguitos Street, one of the most photographed streets in Cusco. Trekking shoes or boots with solid grip: Footwear with non-slip traction, essential for dirt trails and steep inclines at Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake.

High-mountain layered clothing: Thermal base layer, fleece or windbreaker jacket, and a heavy winter or down jacket for early-morning departures to Rainbow Mountain (where temperatures hover around 32°F / 0°C).

Lightweight daypack (20 to 25 liters): Within the permitted size limits for entering Machu Picchu and spacious enough for an overnight change of clothes in Aguas Calientes, water, and daily essentials.

Rain poncho or waterproof jacket: Crucial for the subtropical cloud forest around Machu Picchu and unpredictable Andean weather shifts.

Full sun protection: High-SPF sunscreen (SPF 50+), UV-blocking sunglasses, and a wide-brimmed sun hat or cap to shield against high-altitude solar radiation.

Reusable water bottle or canteen (1 to 2 L): To stay properly hydrated on hikes above 13,000 and 16,000 feet (single-use plastics are strictly prohibited at Machu Picchu).
