Day by Day Itinerary

This tour begins with a hotel pick-up in Cusco between 6:00 – 6:30 AM. We will drive approximately 3 hours to Challacancha, where our adventure truly begins. Once we arrive, we’ll prepare our gear and get ready to start the hike.rnThis first day is perfect for acclimatization and serves as a gentle introduction to the altitude. The initial 50 minutes feature a gradual incline, followed by a flatter section leading to Soraypampa town. From there, we face the first real challenge: climbing up to Humantay Lake, which takes about 1 hour with breaks along the way. It’s a steep ascent, but completely worth it — at the top, you’ll be rewarded with one of the most breathtaking spots in Peru: Humantay Lake. You’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the view and take photos, with guidance from our experienced tour guides.rnAfter enjoying the lake, we descend to our base camp at 3,900 meters above sea level. Once there, we’ll savor a delicious lunch prepared by our chefs and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing, enjoying the incredible views, and preparing for the next day.rnOur accommodations feature glass structures, allowing you to enjoy panoramic views of the Andes, nearby glaciers, and, if the weather is clear, the starlit night sky — a truly magical way to end your first day.
