Fundacion Sutainable Tourism Peru
The Sustainable Tourism Peru foundation is a non-profit organization that was created by the social area of INCA TRAILS PERU in 2018 in order to carry out projects that benefit vulnerable organizations and communities in the Cusco region, promoting the preservation of their traditions and generating a cultural identity, helping to conserve and protect natural resources and biological diversity, as well as the generation of stable and dignified employment that contribute to the improvement of the quality of life for the reduction of poverty, based in a policy of compliance with the sustainable development goals established in the 2030 agenda.
MISSION
We are a non-profit organization that ensures the well-being of the host organizations and communities that we have been supporting, carrying out projects such as: strengthening the capacities of the inhabitants and creating jobs, empowering Andean women, improving education services and health, environmental conservation, rescue and care of abandoned domestic animals, support and promotion of sport, well-being, inclusion and recreation in the communities.
VISION
By 2025, the “Sustainable Tourism Peru” foundation will be a stable and recognized organization, generating strategic alliances with international organizations, working together with our strategic partners in order to meet the proposed objectives.
PROJECTS OBJECTIVES
The “Sustainable Tourism Peru” Foundation contributes mainly to ensuring the well-being of the host organizations and communities that we have been supporting, carrying out the following projects:
- Strengthening the capacities of the inhabitants and creating jobs
- Empowerment of Andean women
- Improvement of education and health services
- Conservation and protection of the environment
- Rescue and care of abandoned pets
- Support and promotion of sport
- Well-being, inclusion and recreation in the communities
