Itinerary
DAY 01: TRANSFER AIRPORT – HOTEL & CITY TOUR
Upon arrival in the city of Cusco, our staff will transfer you to your hotel.
At 14:00 pm your guide will pick you up from your hotel to start the City Tour, first we will visit the temple of the sun – Qoricancha, a spiritual and sacred place during the Inca period, we will also observe the influence of the Catholic religion on the Inca religion. Then we will go to the Cathedral Basilica of Cusco, a place that was built between the 16th – 17th centuries where we can see the Catholic representation in paintings, sculptures and altars. One of the maximum representations of the Cusco school is the painting of the Last Andean Dinner, a painting that shows us that the author represented Andean products and guinea pig as the main dish.
Continuing with our tour
we will go by bus to the majestic Saysachuaman Archaeological Center (3700 masl) which is located 15 minutes from the city of Cusco, Sacsayhuaman is a place where we will appreciate imposing Inca buildings and immense monoliths up to 6 meters high. height with a weight of more than 90 tons thus becoming one of the most mysterious places in the world because it is unknown how? and in how long? This majestic work of engineering was built.
During the tour we can also observe the various sectors that make up this archaeological site such as towers, squares, walls, gates, highlighting the Inca tunnels “Chincanas”, places that keep many secrets.
Finally we will return to your hotel.

DAY 02: CUSCO – CHINCHERO – MORAY – MARAS – MACHUPICCHU TOWN “AGUAS CALIENTES”.
This tour begins with the pick up from your hotel at 8:00 am.
Through the north road we will go to the Archaeological Center of Chinchero, we will appreciate its scenic beauty and the manifestations of Inca architecture composed of its imposing constructions that were part of an Inca palace. After the tour we will arrive at a textile center where we will be received by a group of native women, experts in the elaboration of textiles and who will share their knowledge with us through a demonstration of the textile process, these women are recognized worldwide for their authenticity. work and high quality.
After this unforgettable experience we will visit the Archaeological Center of Moray which is one of the most amazing places that we can find in the sacred valley, Moray has circular terraces that would have been a place of agricultural experimentation in the time of the Incas and that until today it keeps its secrets.
Salt Maras
Continuing with the tour we will arrive at the salt mines of Maras located between mountains at a height of 3380 meters (11,080 ft), Maras was one of the most important places in the time of the Incas due to the extraction of salt (mineral resource that was used for consumption and commerce); Currently the residents of the community continue to carry out this activity for their own benefit.
After visiting the tourist attractions of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will arrive at a farm that is located in Urubamba, to taste the delicious buffet lunch with various options including traditional Peruvian food.
After enjoying the exquisite lunch, we will go to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the train that will take us to the town of Machupicchu (Aguas Calientes), where we will spend the night in this wonderful town.

DAY 03: MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO
This day will be the most important because we will visit the Sacred City of Machupicchu, Full day Machu Picchu will begin with the pick up from your hotel very early; then we will go to the bus station where we will board a bus that will take us to Machupicchu (30min approx). In Machupicchu we will carry out the guided tour for around two hours that will be led by our Professional Tourism Guide, there we will explore each of the sectors of this wonder and then you will have enough time to explore this place on your own.
Visitors who have added tickets for the extra hikes “Montaña Huaynapicchu” or “Montaña Machupicchu” will do it on their own after the guided tour. According to the program you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, have lunch, board the return train that will take you to the train station and then be transported by bus to your hotel in the city of Cusco.

DAY 04: MUSEUM IN CUSCO & TRANSFER HOTEL – AIRPORT
To end this program we will make a guided visit to one of the most important museums in Cusco, where we will have the opportunity to appreciate the cultural evidences, works of art from the history of Cusco, finally we will transfer it to the Airport of the city of Cusco.
