RESERVATION POLICIES
INCA TRAILS PERU suggests that all persons wishing to make a reservation carefully read and understand our policies. The contract made with the company must be respected by both parties (Company – Client). The following policies will apply to your reservation and are part of your contract.
A contract will be made when we accept your reservation and issue our confirmation invoice or email.
The contract and all matters arising in it are subject to Peruvian regulations which must be respected under the following criteria:
HOW TO BOOK?
To reserve, an initial deposit of 50% of the total cost of the trip is required. This amount is necessary to cover the costs of operations and it is not refundable if the client cancels the trip. The remaining 50% must be paid at least 90 days before your trip, covering 100% of the total cost of the tour.
Note: This policy applies to all tours, hikes and tourist packages.
HOW TO PAY?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, payments can be made through our website. In case you need assistance, contact us to process your payment.
NOTE: If your online payment from Visa, MasterCard or other cards is declined and answered “DENIED” or has not been processed due to internet crashes, security filters or other errors (especially with the Visa card), please try to pay a second time or use another card. If this doesn’t work, contact your bank.

NOTE: You must increase USD $ 40.00 to the deposit amount to cover the bank transaction fee.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
In case THE CLIENT requests the cancellation of his reservation in writing, the following penalty will be applied:
From 30 to 60 days before the departure date | Penalty of 50% of the total cost of the tour |
From 07 to 29 days before the departure date | Penalty of 70% of the total cost of the tour |
From 01 to 07 days before the departure date Or “No Show” | Penalty of 100% of the total cost of the tour |
The company is not responsible for delays, inconveniences and / or expenses of any other type that result completely or in part from causes beyond the responsibility of the company, nor for losses or additional expenses due to delays, illnesses, weather problems, strikes, riots or other similar circumstances.
The company charges these penalties because there are a large amount of operating expenses paid to organize these tours. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions. In the event that you require a document to present to your insurance company, we will be happy to provide it and help you recover part of the cost of your trip.
CHANGES MADE BY THE CLIENT
The person who makes the reservation is the only person who can make changes to the Tour / Hike / Tour Package. A USD $ 50 penalty will be applied to make any changes. Although every effort will be made to make the requested changes, they are not guaranteed and there may be additional costs in connection with these changes.
CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS OF THE COMPANY
The company does its best to carry out the tours / hikes / tour packages and services according to the original itineraries that appear in the reservation request. However, when this agreement is finalized (company – client), the client accepts all the changes that may be necessary for the optimal performance of the tours / hikes / tourist packages and services in case of impediments.
In the event of a major change, the company will notify the customer as soon as possible. The customer will have options to accept the change.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance that covers accidents, medical expenses (including rescue and air ambulance) and emergency repatriation. We also recommend that you cover cancellations and lost luggage. Make sure this insurance reimburses you for travel costs.
Once you have purchased travel insurance, please send a copy of the insurance company name and policy number by email or bring all the information when you come to our office.
PRIVACY POLICIES
INCA TRAILS PERU does not market, exchange or publish the personal information shared by our clients (name, passport number, email address, credit card, telephone number, etc.) with any third party. In accordance with Law 29733, Law on Protection of Personal Data, INCA TRAILS PERU undertakes to fulfill its obligation to safeguard with respect to personal data and the duty to treat it with confidentiality, with the exception of the information necessary to complete your reservation.
In order to prevent unauthorized access, data inaccuracy and ensure the correct use of your information, we have established the appropriate procedures to guarantee the security of the information provided online. Our online payment system maintains the privacy of your information by not allowing anyone else access to it.
